CULVER CITY (CBSLA/AP) — A decapitated body was found Monday outside Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Culver City.

A security officer discovered a fully clothed male body next to a head in the bushes near a parking structure around 3 p.m., according to Watch Commander Omar Corrales from the Culver City Police Department.

Officials said it appears the man committed suicide by jumping off of the building because there was blood found on the structure.

Sky9 cameras captured what appeared to be rope tied to a handrail.

Investigators, however, have not ruled out homicide.
