The driver, in a dark-colored sports utility vehicle, slammed into a white Lexus sedan at a Burbank traffic signal near the Disney Studios, in front of Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center, said officials.
The victim -- who was driving the Lexus -- was identified as 33-year-old Roman Ramos Rubio of Burbank.
The crash was reported just before 5:40 a.m., said officials.
Neither driver had a passenger.
