LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Divine Design — a five-day extravaganza — was established 21 years ago as a charity fundraiser to help Project Angel Food.
Project Angel Food delivers meals and nutritional counseling to anyone with a life threatening condition — HIV/AIDS, cancer. Founded in 1989, Project Angel Food currently provides 13,000 meals each week to men, women and children in Los Angeles County. The group is helped by 3,700 volunteers. And more volunteers are always needed.
Every dollar raised in Divine Design festivities go to benefit Project Angel Food.
There’s a star-studded opening night rock and roll party this evening. (Sorry, you need an invite to get in!)
Beginning Saturday, consumers get to buy designer goods (clothes, accessories, home furnishings) at hugely discounted prices — just in time for holiday shopping, too.
The Divine Design Marketplace opens to the public at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 1st. and runs through Monday at 8 p.m.
Where? The Market Place, 9900 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills, CA 90212. Tickets are $25 at the door, $15 at the link below, there is free parking.
The discounts on Saturday start at 70% off of retail and increase each remaining day of the sale through Monday, December 3rd. For more information, including designer updates, ticket information and purchasing, click here.
