LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — American record producer, manager and director Lou Adler and his wife Page Adler stopped by KCAL9 to discuss their upcoming event, “You’ve Got a Friend…A Celebration of Carole King and Her Music”.

Lou produced the event to benefit Paul Newman’s The Painted Turtle Camp, which provides children suffering from chronic, life-threatening illnesses the opportunity to rediscover the joys of childhood.

The event, which will be held on Dec. 4 at the Dolby Theater, will be hosted by Danny Devito, Jack Nicholson and Quincy Jones.

There will be performances from: Alicia Keys, Katy Perry, John Legend, Amy Grant, Vince Gill, Herb Alpert, Lani Hall, Jesse McCartney, Darlene Love, Nikki Yanofsky and Carole King herself.
