Man Arrested In Apparent Botched Robbery That Killed 3

ONTARIO (CBS) — Authorities Tuesday announced that they have apprehended a man in connection with a triple homicide in Ontario.

Steven David James Carter, 34, has been arrested in what authorities believe was a botched home-invasion robbery that left two of his accomplices dead.

Officials Monday found a man shot to death in the driveway of a home in the 1000 block of South Magnolia Avenue. Two other men were found dead inside the residence.

One of the victims was the intended target of the robbery, according to police.

Carter is expected to be charged with three counts of murder.
