LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — An explosion in an underground vault in Windsor Hills prompted the closure of Slauson Avenue.

The incident in the 4400 block of West Slauson Avenue was reported about 7 a.m. Sunday.

According to authorities, Slauson Avenue between Overhill Drive and Angeles Vista Boulevard has been closed.

An investigation is under way.

No damage or injuries were reported.
