19-Year-Old Accused Of Shooting Man, Teen In Domestic Dispute
CARSON (CBSLA.com) — A 19-year-old man allegedly shot two people in connection to a domestic dispute in Carson on Thursday morning.
Deputies were called to a residence in the 19300 block of Corsin Avenue around 6 a.m., according to Sgt. Brian Stover from the L.A. County sheriff's Carson station.
Officials were told the suspect in the reported disturbance fled the area, so they launched a search.
"That's when deputies heard shots coming from the home," Stover said.
Authorities said a 65-year-old man was found with gunshot wounds to his torso.
A 17-year-old girl, who was believed to be personally involved with the suspect, was also shot.
The victims were sent to a local hospital.
The older man is in serious condition.
The unidentified suspect was later found and arrested.
The 19-year-old was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, but Stover said additional charges may be filed.
