14 Freeway Reopens After Downed Telephone Pole Closes Lanes
SYLMAR (CBSLA.com) — Traffic is moving again on the 14 Freeway after it was briefly shut down due to a telephone pole that fell on the freeway.
The northbound lanes of the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway were closed Tuesday morning just north of the Golden State (5) Freeway at Los Pinetos in the Newhall Pass.
A traffic accident that occurred around 10:15 a.m. apparently caused the pole to topple onto the freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
