MORENO VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said Saturday that they have arrested three people they believe pointed a hand-held laser device at a helicopter in Moreno Valley.
The helicopter’s crew determined the beam of light was emanating from a house in the 2200 block of Bay Ave.
Riverside County Sheriff’s Sgt. Bill Guimont said in a written statement that three suspects were identified, booked and arrested and accused of pointing the light at the helicopter sometime Friday evening.
Officials named the suspects as Rudy Giron, 26; Fernando Soto, 21; and Moises Estevez-Ayala, 20.
