GLENDORA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Wednesday found a body inside of a car that was submerged at the edge of the San Gabriel Reservoir in the Angeles National Forest.
Officials from the Los Angeles County Fire Department said the car reportedly fell approximately 400 feet down an embankment from state Route 39.
The car had been there for quite some time, but it was not seen until Wednesday morning, according to sheriff’s Lt. Andy Berg from the San Dimas station.
The death is under investigation.
