Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Nov. 12)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — It's a cold start to your Veterans Day.

We have Freeze Warnings in the Antelope Valley this morning...lack of wind, clear skies, and a cold air mass are contributing to temperatures bottoming out in the teens in some cases in the high desert.

Later today the off-shore flow kicks in and we can expect some drying and warming through the area. Sunny skies and temperatures near average for today. The off-shore flow continues through Wednesday with temperatures topping out in the upper 70s to low 80s.

We can expect dry and gusty weather through the mid week. By Thursday a storm system moves into the west coast, but the models are differing on its track.

It could drop down into the area bringing us rain, or just skirt by to the north. The latest models has the system to the north, but we will see what happens. Certainly cooler weather for the end of the week.

Coast-low 70s
Basin-mid 70s
Valleys-mid 70s
Mountains-upper 40s
Deserts-low 60s
