LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A search was under way for as many as five men wanted in connection with a deadly overnight shooting in South Los Angeles.

The incident occurred in the 1000 block of West 119th Street near South Vermont Avenue just after 2 a.m. Sunday.

A news release by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says the victim was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The suspects were described as male Hispanic adults.

No further information was immediately available.
