IRVINE (CBSLA.com) — Orange County authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 62-year-old man.
Chang Ko, of Irvine, was last seen on Nov. 7 at 7:30 a.m. at his home in the 400 block of Hayes Street, Irvine police said.
He was likely wearing a white tank top, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.
Family members believe he left his home for a walk sometime between 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and is known to walk to the Tustin Marketplace as well as Orange Hill Presbyterian Church in Orange.
“Ko suffers from Alzheimer’s and other health issues requiring medication,” Lt. Julia Engen said.
Irvine officers are searching the area surrounding Ko’s home with blood hounds and a helicopter.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Irvine Police Department at (949) 724-7200.
