'The Talk's' Sharon Osbourne Has Double Mastectomy

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) —"The Talk" co-host Sharon Osbourne has revealed she had a double mastectomy after learning she carries a gene that increases the risk of developing breast cancer.

Osbourne, 60, who is also a judge on "America's Got Talent," has already battled colon cancer 10 years ago. She told "Hello! Magazine" that without the surgery, "the odds are not in my favor."

Osbourne, her husband Ozzy, and her children, Jack and Kelly, became familiar household names after they starred in the reality show "The Osbournes."

According to cbsnews.com, Osbourne also had cosmetic surgery in addition to the double mastectomy. She says that will be it for her and plastic surgery.
