LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — One person was killed in a three-car collision in Long Beach and officials say one of the vehicles was going in the wrong direction on the 710 Freeway.
The accident occurred on the southbound lanes at Anaheim Street.
Reporting in Sky9, Stu Mundel said the collision happened just after 10 p.m.
Mundel said one car was going north, inexplicably.
It was unclear how many people were involved in the accident but Mundel said one female passenger had to be extricated from a vehicle.
It is believed at least three people were injured. The extent of the injuries is not known.
