Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Oct. 29)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — We will see a strengthening on-shore flow for the next few days. That will bring some cooler weather for us as we progress through the work week.

We will see a general cooling trend through this week with the return of a marine layer. A trough is moving into the west coast and will bring with it the threat of showers to points north of Santa Barbara.

There is a slight chance some of that wet weather could sneak south into Ventura, but it is not likely. The front moves through on Thursday and temperatures bottom out in the Low 70s. Behind that trough another ridge moves in and we are looking at some significantly warmer weather for Sunday and Monday of next week.

Coast-mid 70s
Basin-low 80s
Valleys-mid 80s
Deserts-low 80s
Mountains-upper 60s
