HAWTHORNE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities on Sunday continued to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting deaths of two young men in Hawthorne.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s Sgt. Scott Hoglund says officers responded about 2:20 a.m. to a “shots fired” call at a party at a warehouse in the 13100 block of Yukon Avenue.
Upon arrival, authorities found two victims suffering of gunshot wounds, ages 18 and 24.
One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene while the second died at a hospital.
Hoglund said the incident appears to be gang-related, but an investigation was ongoing.
