Slater's 50/50 Now Offering Donut Burger On New Breakfast Menu

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — A burger for breakfast? Slater's 50/50 is now offering the Donut Burger!

Founder and president of Slater's 50/50, Scott Slater, and executive chef, Brad Lyons, stopped by KCAL9 Wednesday to discuss their new breakfast menu just in time for Sunday morning football!

Slater's 50/50 new breakfast menu will be served Sept. 8 through Dec. 30 every Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

It will include:

The Donut Burger – part of the new breakfast menu for football  season the Donut Burger features a 50/50 patty topped with American cheese and a sunny-side-up egg sandwiched between two giant glazed donuts.

The 50/50 Burger – This is the restaurant's signature burger. It starts with the 50/50 patty – 50 percent ground bacon and 50 percent ground beef and is topped with a sunny side up egg, avocado mash, pepper Jack cheese and chipotle mayo on a brioche bun.

The B' B' B' Bacon Burger – Part of Slater's 50/50's new menu, the  B' B' B' Bacon Burger is for true bacon lovers with a 50/50 patty with bacon, American cheese, sunny side up egg, thick cut bacon and bacon island dressing on a bacon pretzel bun

We will also have several other burgers and sides on display so we can show the full-range of the Slater's 50/50 menu.
