EAST LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — An elderly woman’s body was found in East Los Angeles on Monday.

The victim was discovered just before 8:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of South Vancouver Avenue.

Sheriff’s homicide detectives said the circumstances surrounding her death are suspicious.
