Authorities Nab Palmdale Man, 36, For Fatally Stabbing 26-Year-Old

 PALMDALE (CBS) — Homicide detectives Sunday arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of stabbing to death a 26-year-old man in Palmdale, the Sheriff's Department said.

Alfred Crowder was booked at the sheriff's Palmdale station. He is being held without bail.

Crowder's relationship to the deceased was not immediately known, according to a department statement. The stabbing was reported at 11:14 p.m. Wednesday in the 38500 block of 11th Street East, according to the statement.

Deputies found Victor Enriquez suffering from several stab wounds to the torso. Enriquez died at the scene.
