The woman had stepped outside a bar to make a phone call when she told police a man approached her from behind. She told police that she initially thought she was being robbed and complied with her attacker's orders.

Juan Fernandez, reporting for CBS2 and KCAL9, says that it wasn't until the woman was taken to an alley off the main path when she says she was sexually assaulted.

Word of the attack has worried some along the popular stretch.

"That's so scary because I usually walked around here by myself without my husband," said Hye Jung Yun, a concerned resident.

The Pasadena Police Department is working on a composite sketch of the suspect. He is described as a Hispanic adult in his 30s-40s, about 5-feet, 8-inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing dark clothing.
