THOUSAND OAKS (CBSLA.com) — Thirty people had to be rescued off a malfunctioning Ferris wheel Saturday evening in Thousand Oaks.
The incident occurred about 9:12 p.m. at the Thousand Oaks Carnival, held on the campus of California Lutheran University.
No word on what caused the ride to malfunction.
Ventura County firefighters rescued about 30 people using a ladder truck.
Two people reportedly suffered minor injuries. They were treated at the scene.
