Police Release Sketch Of North High School Student's Would-Be Kidnapper

RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — The public's help is needed to identify a man who tried to grab a female North High School student as she walked to campus.

Riverside Police say the girl was walking near Eucalyptus Avenue and 5th Street at about 6:15 a.m. Monday when a man grabbed her. The girl struggled and was able to run away to the school, where she reported the attack to a school administrator.

The suspect was described as a white man in his late 20s, about 5-foot-8 with a stocky build, black hair, a full beard and brown eyes. He was wearing a red T-shirt, red athletic shorts with a white stripe and tennis shoes.
