LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) – A state appeals court panel has overturned a judge’s 2011 decision to throw out convictions for Anna Nicole Smith’s longtime companion, Howard K. Stern.
A judge Thursday also dismissed most of the convictions against Smith’s former psychiatrist.
Howard K. Stern and Dr. Khristine Eroshevich were convicted on Oct. 28, 2010, of conspiring to provide prescription drugs to the Playboy playmate, who died in Florida on Feb. 8, 2007.
However, the bulk of the charges against them were thrown out at their sentencing hearing.
