Perris Murder Investigation Reveals Strip Club Setup In Home Where 7 Adopted Children Live

PERRIS (CBSLA.com) — A platform and a stripper pole was discovered in the lower level of a Perris home during a murder investigation, according to court records.

The July 22 killing of Calvin Lynch, of Moreno Valley, led Riverside County sheriff's investigators to the home, where they found the strip-club setup, ecstasy pills on the kitchen counter and seven adopted children, all of whom were under the age of 11, according to court records.

Riverside County Sheriff's investigator Thomas M. Salisbury wrote in an declaration in support of an arrest warrant that the home's "lower level was converted into an exotic strip club, with alcohol, a platform/dancing pole and a private 'Exotic Zone' room."

The children told investigators and child protective services about strip club parties in their presence that went all night and into the early morning, according to the declaration. Four of the children said they had been hit by their adoptive father with belts and a metal cane, and one said they had been threatened with a Taser.

A 7-year-old girl said she had been molested on a bathroom floor, according to the declaration, which other children said they witnessed.

All of the children said they had been struck by their adoptive mother, who used fists, belts, hangers and metal objects, according to the Riverside-Press Enterprise, and often refused to feed them and locked them in their bedrooms.
