PASADENA (CBS) — A woman in her 60s pulled her car over on the side of a downtown Pasadena street seconds before she collapsed and died, a police lieutenant said Sunday.
The woman was driving along Green Street, between Orange Grove Boulevard and Grand Avenue, at about 4:50 p.m. Saturday.
The driver, whose name has not been released, was with a friend when she became ill and decided to pull over, said Pasadena police Lt. Diego Torres.
She then got of her sedan, collapsed and died at the scene, Torres said.
The woman’s name will be released once her family is notified, he said.
