MORENO VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Four people, including a teen, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with a gang-related shooting.
The incident at Plumeria and Saddleback in Moreno Valley occurred about 11:15 a.m. Friday.
Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Brian Holmes said the unidentified victim, who was wounded in the arm, was treated and released at an undisclosed hospital.
Holmes said gang task force members assigned to investigate located a vehicle parked along Slate Street, which was occupied by four males, who allegedly matched a witness description.
Thereafter, deputies obtained a search warrant for the home of one of the suspects, which authorities said, had evidence linking them to the shooting.
The suspects were identified by police as Allen Brim and Jarrell Ellsworth, both of Moreno Valley, and Antonio Barragan of Riverside. The identity of the fourth suspect, a juvenile, was withheld.
All four were booked on suspicion of attempted murder and other charges.
