Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Oct. 12)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Our first winter season storm is coming to an end...the low is making it's move to the east.

Rain totals from the storm ranged from .10" to generally .25". However, there were some stand out numbers...like the El Monte Fire Station with 1.26", Montebello Fire Station 1.26", or Little Tujunga at 1.04".

We can expect some cooler weather today by a couple of degrees. There will be plenty of cumulus clouds leftover from the storm and there may be a passing stray shower.

However by tomorrow, our weather rebounds back to the warm sunshine. A ridge of high pressure is building in right behind this system and by Sunday and Monday we are going to see temperatures into the upper 80s in the basin and mid 90s for our valleys.

While temps drop a touch on Tuesday...we can expect temperature in the 90s downtown by Thursday with inland temperatures flirting with 100 again.

Coast-upper 60s
Basin-upper 60s to low 70s
Valleys-upper 60s to low 70s
Deserts-upper 60s
Mountains-mid to upper 40s
