LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police say a 19-year-old man tagging a three-story building in the Westlake district fell to the ground and was declared brain dead Thursday morning.
The man, whose name was not released, fell about 2:30 a.m. after climbing a tree to reach the building in the intersection of Beverly Boulevard and Union Place, Los Angeles police Sgt. Melvin Gamble said.
The man was taken to a hospital, where he was declared brain dead, Gamble said.
