Man Stabbed To Death During Monterey Park Restaurant Brawl

MONTEREY PARK (CBSLA.com) — A man was killed Tuesday during a brawl at a restaurant in Monterey Park, according to authorities.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said the fight happened just after 7 p.m. at a Shakey's Pizza Parlor at 1955 S. Atlantic Blvd.

Jose Salas, 22, was arrested after 25-year-old Patrick Ortega was found stabbed to death, according to officials.

Salas, who was booked on suspicion of murder, is being held without bail.
