HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Police say two armed men in masks robbed a Huntington Beach jewelry store Wednesday.
The robbers hit Isabella’s Fine Jewelry, 16917 Algonquin St., just before 12:45 p.m., Huntington Beach police Lt. Mitch O’Brien said.
The suspects, who wore hooded sweatshirts, held employees at gunpoint and smashed display cases to take the jewelry, O’Brien said.
They were last seen fleeing in a 2011 Chrysler Town & Country minivan, with Arizona license plates. A woman was seen driving, and the van was last seen on Warner Avenue headed toward Pacific Coast Highway.
No shots were fired and no one was hurt in the robbery, O’Brien said.
Anyone with more information can call police at (714) 536-5988.
