EL SEGUNDO (CBSLA.com) – With the Lakers’ first preseason game Sunday night in Fresno, things are looking up health wise for the re-amped Lakers.
Kobe Bryant was back at practice today after missing both workouts on Friday with an injured left foot.
Also, Lakers center Dwight Howard took another big step forward in his recovery from back surgery.
Howard, 25, ran in full contact plays with Kobe and the rest of the starting lineup.
While the drills aren’t considered at full speed, it’s a great sign to see Howard progress as he’s aiming to start the season opener against the Dallas Mavericks on October 30th.
