Father, Teen Daughter Arrested Following Alleged Disturbance At HS Football Game

MORENO VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — A 19-year-old girl and her 43-year-old father were arrested on Friday evening following an alleged disturbance during a high school football game.

The incident occurred around 9 p.m. at Valley View High School in Moreno Valley.

Deputies said in a department statement that Danesha Moore was initially asked to leave the game after allegedly creating an unspecified disturbance.

The statement said that the teen left the stadium but remained in the area adjacent.

Authorities allege that she then began arguing with police officers on site who attempted to escort her from the area.

During the struggle, however, authorities said that her father Terrell Moore intervened, allegedly attacking a deputy.

The elder Moore was placed under arrest on suspicion of obstruction and resisting a peace officer. He was also found to have an unresolved warrant, authorities allege.

Danesha Moore was booked on suspicion of threatening the school official.
