LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Daredevils rappelled down the side of the Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites in downtown Los Angeles on Friday.

The “Over the Edge” event started about 10 a.m. at the 35-story hotel on South Figueroa Street.

In all, 50 brave souls went over the edge… blindfolded.

The Boy Scouts hosted the event to raise funds for the organization.

Its aim was also to raise awareness for the visually impaired.
