Fans Get To Vote For 2013 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Inductees

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Listen up, rockaholics! For the first time in history, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is allowing fans to be involved in the induction selection process.

Starting Thursday through Dec. 3, music lovers can vote for the five nominees (out of 15 overall) they believe should gain access into the exclusive rock hall.

The 2013 nominees include Public Enemy, Rush, Deep Purple, Heart, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Randy Newman, and Donna Summer, among others.

The fans' top five artists or bands will be counted along with other ballots to choose the inductees.

The selected musicians will be honored next April in Los Angeles.
