2 Women Accused Of Stabbing Man On Metro Blue Line

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Officials say a 20-something male passenger was stabbed on the Metro Blue Line Sunday after getting into an altercation with two female passengers.

The women -- one in her early 20s and the other in her early 50s -- were arrested and taken into custody.

The man was traveling southbound approaching the Firestone station about 7:20 p.m.

A knife was reportedly recovered at the scene.

Both suspects were arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

The victim, described as a Latino, was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

There was no information available about what led to the altercation.

It is also unknown if the the suspects and the victim were acquainted or strangers.
