BALDWIN PARK (AP) — Authorities say a 49-year-old man pushing a bicycle was hit by a train and killed in Baldwin Park.

City News Service reports Carlos Jacinto DeSantiago walked under a railroad crossing arm Friday evening when he was struck by a Metrolink train on the San Bernardino line.

Baldwin Park police Sgt. Chris Hafford says the accident happened at the crossing on Ramona Boulevard and Downing Avenue.
