New App For Your Nightlife: OC's Own Nightmade

The night is young, you're ready to hit the town, but where to go, how's the scene and who's there now? Maybe you don't have to be clairvoyant or have friends in every bar to give you the play-by-play, maybe you just need to download a brand-new iPhone app called Nightmade.

The tech heads and creative force behind Nightmade are four Orange County locals and a Chief Technology Officer originally from India, who graduated from USC. The team promises to redefine your nightlife with their new app. The technology is so new, they just used the recent Pacific Festival event to launch the app this month.

"What we ultimately realized is that nightlife is hit or miss," says Taylor Good, VP of Marketing for Nightmade. So to help eliminate that which can disrupt the flow of a good night, they created the nightlife app. "It identifies which nearby bars/nightclubs are the most popular at the moment, shows you what your friends are doing and shares what local events are going on. In addition, users can easily unlock unique discounts," Taylor tells CBSLA.

Exactly how does it work? The app pulls up real-time information and pinpoints the bars/clubs you might like most. Once you click on a certain venue from the map, you are redirected to that venue's Location page, where you can track the real-time ratings. Ratings specify wait time, guy/girl ratio, crowd size and fun. The Social feature connects to Facebook, an Events feature and a Discounts/Rewards feature.

So the next time the night feels right to hit the town, don't just hope you pick the right place, first app-check out your options on Nightmade. The app is available everywhere.
