SAN DIEGO (CBSla.com) The San Diego Chargers have signed wide receiver Malcolm Floyd to a 3-year extension that will keep him in San Diego through 2015 season.
Floyd, who would have been a free agent at the end of the season, has been Philip Rivers’ top target this season with 13 catches and 227 yards, with 1 touchdown.
Floyd, who’s been with the Chargers since 2004, has 3,397 career total yards and 21 touchdowns.
“All these year, I guess paid off,” said the 6-foot-5 receiver from Wisconsin. “I’ve been spoiled out here. They took great care of me and I get to finish as Chargers, something I’ve dreamed about.”
