2 Dead, 2 Children Critically Injured In Woodland Hills Accident

WOODLAND HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Two people were killed and two children critically injured in a two-vehicle crash in the San Fernando Valley Wednesday.

The accident happened around 10:50 a.m. in the 20400 block of West Califa Street in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles Fire Department officials said.

According to police, a silver SUV, carrying four passengers, was traveling at a high rate of speed on West Califa when it collided with a parked white pickup truck.

All victims required extrication. A man and a woman were killed in the collision, officials said.

The two children, reportedly under the age of 10, were transported via ambulance to Northridge Hospital in critical condition, officials said.

It was unclear if the victims were related.
