LA PAZ, Mexico (CBSLA.com) — A magnitude 6.2 earthquake hit Tuesday afternoon near Mexico's Baja Peninsula.
The temblor struck 47 miles north of La Paz, Mexico at 4:45 p.m, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
