Burglary, Sexual Battery Suspect Wanted In Los Feliz

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The public's help was being sought Tuesday to identify a burglary and sexual battery suspect who has broken into several Los Feliz-area homes.

The burglar is suspected of breaking into 13 single family and multi-unit dwellings along Los Feliz Boulevard between March 27 and Aug. 17.

Police say the suspect typically breaks into the victim's home between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. and takes the victim's property while they sleep. The burglar has made sexual contact with some of the victims as they slept, police said.

When the victims wake up, the suspect leaves on foot.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic man, between 25 and 30 years old, 160-180 pounds, between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-10, with a slim build and broad shoulders.

Detectives released two composite drawings based on witness statements. Other witnesses have described the suspect as having a closely shaven haircut and a thick mustache.
