BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Film fanatics who usually spend Oscar night glued to their televisions have a chance to be a bit closer to their favorite celebrities at next year’s ceremony.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is accepting applications for movie addicts who want to sit in the bleacher seats along the red carpet leading into the Dolby Theater at the Hollywood & Highland Center.

The seats will be given away using a random drawing.

Entries can be submitted here until Nov. 16.

The 85th Academy Awards ceremony is scheduled for Feb. 24.
