LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Mulholland Drive on the Westside remained closed on Sunday as crews prepare for “Carmageddon II.”
The closure affecting the west side of the bridge to Casiano Road took effect as of 10 p.m. Friday
City News Service reports that the Mulholland Drive/Skirball Center Drive ramps to-and-from the 405 Freeway are expected to remain open.
Crews expected to have the roadway reopened by 6 a.m. Monday.
“Carmageddon II” is scheduled for Sept. 29-30.
The 53-hour closure affecting the 405 Freeway in both directions across the Sepulveda Pass will allow for the demolition of the north side of the bridge.
The closure begins at 7 p.m. on Sept. 28.
