On Sept. 17, Diego, 44, allegedly entered the room of a 43-year-old female patient at Holy Cross Hospital to take her vital signs, Los Angeles police said.

Diego reportedly removed some of the woman's garments and touched her inappropriately under the bed covers while her sister lay asleep nearby, police said in a statement.

"The incident ended when the woman tossed a tissue box at her sleeping sister to awaken her," said officials.

The women reported the behavior to nurses who then called police.

During the investigation, hospital officials told police about another complaint against Diego by a female patient from earlier in September.

Authorities believe there may be additional victims as Diego has previously worked part time as a nurse at Los Robles Care Center in Ojai until August of this year.

Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call Detective Michael Brox, Mission Sex Crimes Unit, at (818) 838-9902.

Diego is set to appear in court Friday.
