Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Sept. 19)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The ridging that started yesterday continues today, which means some warmer temperatures and the marine layer getting further squashed to the coast.

There may be some spots with patchy dense fog, but for the most part, the area will remain clear. The warming trend continue for the rest of the week topping out tomorrow and Friday with temperatures in the San Fernando Valley and portions of the Inland Empire reaching 100 degrees.

By Saturday and Sunday an area of low pressure will move into the west coast...causing a cool down with partly cloudy skies. There is even the possibility that this low could produce moisture way to the north, but we will be dry in So. Cal. It looks like temperatures are moderated next week by an on-shore flow...so there is relief from the heat on the way.
