ORANGE (CBSLA.com) — A 9-year-old girl was hurt in a hit-and-run accident in Orange on Wednesday.
The collision happened around 2:40 p.m. on Glassell Street and Collins Avenue when a driver ran a red light while the girl and her brother were crossing the street, according to Lt. Dave Hill of the Orange Police Department.
The 10-year-old boy was uninjured.
The girl was transported to UC Irvine Medical Center for treatment of facial bruises.
The suspect’s car is described as a dark-colored sedan, which has a broken window due to the crash.
