DEVORE (CBSLA.com) — A brush fire has scorched at least 10 acres near the 15 Freeway in Devore Wednesday, prompting officials to issue evacuations.
The fire ignited shortly after 3 p.m. close to where the freeway crosses Kenwood Avenue, Cal Fire reported.
Authorities are evacuating residents near the intersection of Greenwood and Kenwood avenues, east of the freeway, according to the San Bernardino County sheriff’s Department. Residents were told they could seek shelter at the San Manuel Pavilion Amphitheater.
There have been no reports of any injuries or damage.
