Motorcyclist Suffers Major Injuries Following Crash

IDYLLWILD (CBS) — A motorcyclist was airlifted to a hospital Sunday after sustaining major injuries in a crash in Idyllwild.

The solo-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 243, Riverside County fire officials said.

The crash -- reported just before 2 p.m -- happened near Marian View Drive, officials said in a written statement.

It was unclear what caused the motorcyclist to crash.

The condition of the unidentified motorcycle rider was not disclosed.
