Actress Amanda Bynes Has Her Car Impounded

BURBANK (CBS) — As a young actress, Amanda Bynes has made a name for herself. As a driver, she's also made a name for herself... but not one that will win her awards any time soon.

Bynes -- who already has two hit-and-run charges, a DUI and a suspended license -- was cited Sunday and had her car impounded near Bob Hope Airport.

The 26-year-old actress was pulled over by airport police this morning while driving on a suspended license.

She was pulled over near the airport's entrance, according to airport spokesman Victor Gill.

"Airport police did cite Amanda Bynes for driving a vehicle with a suspended drivers license this morning at approximately 8:20 (a.m.) on Hollywood Way, just south of the airport main entrance," Gill said in a recorded statement. "Her vehicle was impounded at that time."

Bynes was not arrested, according to police officials.

She is best known for her roles on Nickelodeon's "All That" and "The Amanda Show" and films such as "Hairspray," "What a Girl Wants," "She's the Man" and "Sydney White."
